Follow this brief guide to set up your P2P Marketplace and start crowdfunding right away, using the same donors to raise money on behalf of your favorite organization.
WHAT IS A PEER-TO-PEER (P2P) CAMPAIGN?
P2P is another form of funding in which users or potential donors create their own campaigns that they will promote on their platforms to raise money for your cause.
Stockcrowd offers you the ability to configure P2P for your campaigns using various methods:
Individual P2P: The user creates his or her own individual campaign.
Individual P2P + Team P2P: With this option, you can create an individual or team campaign. A team campaign is an umbrella under which other individual campaigns are collected together on behalf of the team. This option is perfect for companies, organizations, or particular groups of people.
1. HOW DO I SET UP P2P?
Access our BackOffice. If this is the first time you are setting up a Peer-to-Peer campaign, we suggest you configure it for testing in the Sandbox.
On the BackOffice home page, select the campaign type you want to use to run a P2P campaign.
Once you have selected the campaign, go to the “Settings” tab (two-wheeled icon on the left side of the BackOffice).
Select the “Peer to Peer” sub-tab.
Below, we illustrate steps 3 and 4:
2. STEPS FOR SETTING UP A P2P CAMPAIGN
To complete the configuration of a P2P campaign, you must fill in the 5 sections that you will see on the page that opens after selecting the “Peer to Peer” sub-tab. Be sure to save your changes as you go through the different tabs of the P2P configuration.
In the administrators' area, it will be necessary to add the people who will be in charge of validating the P2P campaigns that users create. In the lower part, the list of people who are already registered as administrators will appear.
You can configure the language in which communications will be received and sent.
Here you must define the general characteristics of your campaign: Logo, color scheme, what information you want to show in the campaign(s) (collection, participants, so on), etc.
- In order to see the link to the creation of your P2P campaign(s), from your main campaign, you must make sure you have selected the button “Show link from this marketplace in the campaign”.
- Enable E-commerce connection is an option only available to rewards campaigns. It makes it possible for the fundraiser to choose to connect to the rewards shop.
2.3. NAVIGATION BAR:
In this part, we can edit what we want to appear in the upper-left section of the Marketplace (the window where all the P2P campaigns created will be shown), which is associated with your campaign. This can be the logo of your organization/campaign or a small block of text identifying the campaign. This will be displayed as follows:
To edit this part, you must select, from the drop-down menu “Organization Information”, either campaign identification text or a logo.
The following URLs will be used later to finish setting up the P2P.
In this section, you only have to configure the photo that you want to appear as a header in the Marketplace. This photo is your choice, but it is recommended that it is an elongated photo since it will be displayed as follows:
* Desktop background image size: 2000x255px.
Mobile phone background image size: 255px high.
Within each P2P campaign, there is part of the information that comes from your organization and part that comes from the Fundraiser. In this tab, you will configure the content coming from your organization.
Here we show you which parts of the P2P campaign are editable by you and which by the Fundraiser:
- Purple shows the organization's editable fields.
- Blue shows the fields that can be edited by the Fundraiser.
You can fill in all these purple fields in this section of the Fundraiser page.
In the lower section, where it says “Default campaign history”, you can write the text you want to appear by default in the Fundraiser's campaign, in case the Fundraiser does not want to fill in this field.
The P2P campaigns that have an E-commerce connection give the donor the option of donating to the campaign or purchase from the solidarity shop.
3.- P2P MANAGEMENT AREA
Once the Fundraisers create their P2P campaign(s), you can manage them from the BackOffice. To do this, you must go to the icon showing three people, then select P2P Campaigns, as shown below:
From here, you will be able to generate a report where you will find the general information of your P2P campaign(s).
